Unser Bild der Kubanischen Revolution wird bis heute durch die dramatischen Aufnahmen ihrer Helden von René Burri oder Alberto Korda geprägt, nicht zuletzt durch dessen omnipräsente Ikone Guerrillero Heroico (1960). Doch gleichzeitig entstanden auch eine Vielzahl unbeschwerter Schnappschüsse, die Fidel Castro beim Golfen oder auf der Jagd in der damaligen Sowjetunion zeigen, oder jene erstaunlich persönlichen Fotos von Che Guevara, die Andrew Saint-George gelangen.
