Quest'opera apporta un consistente contributo alla ricostruzione della storia economico-sociale di Pontelatone agli inizi del XIX secolo attraverso la pubblicazione e l’analisi di importanti fonti storiche precedentemente ignorate.
In essa si ripercorre la storia di Pontelatone, le vicende che caratterizzarono i luoghi e i personaggi locali grazie al Catasto provvisorio del 1815 e a numerose altre fonti archivistiche degli Archivi di Stato di Napoli e Caserta, pubblicando in appendice l’elenco dei contribuenti del Catasto Onciario, del Catasto Provvisorio e le sentenze della Commissione feudale che interessarono Pontelatone.

This work makes a substantial contribution to the reconstruction of the economic and social history of Pontelatone in the early nineteenth century through the publication and analysis of important historical sources previously ignored.
It traces the history of Pontelatone, the events that characterized the local places and characters thanks to the provisional cadastre of 1815 and numerous other archival sources of the State Archives of Naples and Caserta, publishing in the appendix the list of taxpayers of the Onciario cadastre, of the Provisional Land Registry and the judgments of the feudal commission that affected Pontelatone.
