It is known that sustained increases in the level of unemployment imply higher levels of poverty and setbacks in the development of a society, precisely this book shows an analysis of the different circumstances, effects and results of youth unemployment for the period 1996 - 2019, the study compares the unemployment figures of the ASIAN crisis (1998), and the SUBPRIME crisis (2008), in addition to showing the trajectory that unemployment has had until 2019.Finally, from the study it is possible to infer whether post-crisis public policies were effective in terms of mitigating the negative effect that an economic crisis has on this segment of the labor market.
