Jimson, VincentVincent Jimson has his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos, Plateau State. He also has his Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Literature, from the University of Ibadan, all in Nigeria. Apart from writing, he is also a public speaker, an actor and a school master. He has taught in many secondary schools in Nigeria.
'Romantic Foreplay with Literary Studies' is a serial collection of literary essays (seminar papers, assignments, presentations) in the course of my studies at masters level in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They may not be 'perfect' academic works per say, because they are my toddlings in Literary Studies; but the essays are very topical, informative and educative in their selection. These toddlings come in series, in which I did my best to loosely group the essays according to relatedness, or sometimes, according to works mentored by a particular teacher. I again beg perfection to please spare me. Hopefully, six (6) parts will be reeled out, this is just part two. This second part is an exciting read which contains four essays in four chapters altogether, and it is subtitled, '... Advocating Marriage of Literature and Medicine,' descriptive of its preoccupation.
