Desert Romance is a collection of poems that spans four decades. It captures the author's tranquil moments with subjects that range from love, politics, life, religion, travels, philosophy, women and the African continent. These issues cut across views and perspectives which the author expresses in beautifully woven words. Some of the poems x-ray the black man's broken identity, culture and, of course, Africa's flawed political space.
