This book shows a study done with Psychology students of the University of Cuenca, Ecuador. The students were exposed to English for Specific Purposes during a semester. In order to analyse de effects of the ESP in their reading comprehension level, they were asked to read some academic articles and texts related to their field of study. We applied a pre-test and a post- test to analyse the impact of this kind of readings.
