Issa Adem is a writer, researcher, and an assistant professor of literature at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Eritrea. He has published many articles in peer reviewed international journals. His articles featured issues related to language, culture, and folk literature. Recently, he has published a novel titled,"A Voice in the Void."

This research work is the first of its kind on the Nara ethnic group of Eritrea. It is a comprehensive study on origin, history, and culture of the Nara people. The book will be a unique and invaluable resource for students and teachers of anthropology, sociology, and related disciplines.In writing this book, Issa has been very clear in his mind as to how he should go about it.
