Hamed, Abdallah
The author was born in Egypt. He graduated from the Ain Shams University, Fac. of Science, in June 1973 ( B.Sc.) with honors degree and holds a M.Sc. degree in Laser Optics (December 1976). He got a scholarship in France in 1978 and obtained the title of Doctor of Science in 1985. Now, he is Professor of Theoretical Optics at Ain Shams University.
The book is devoted mainly in discussing the operator algebra in the computation of the Point Spread Function for some modulated apertures using Gaussian Laser illumination. Secondly, Segmentation and improvement of reconstructed images from Fourier holograms is obtained using the mammographic images. Finally, Holographic imaging using Scanning Fresnel holograms provided with modulated linear and quadratic apertures is discussed giving better reconstructed images compared with uniform circular aperture manipulation.
