Digital Manufacturing Science

Dr. S. Q. Xie is currently a Senior Lecturer in the area of Mechatronics. His current research interests are smart sensors and actuators, medical and rehabilitation robots, MEMS, modern control technologies and applications, and rapid product development technologies. Zhou Z.D. is the Professor and President of Wuhan University of Technology.

The integral subject system of digital manufacturing science should be studied on digital manufacturing system and process, namely on the macroscopic and microscopic aspects. At first this book expatiates on modeling theory and main modeling method of digital manufacturing science, constructs its basic modeling system and denotes its theoretical supporting system. Secondly, it analyzes and introduces main basic subject theories that constitute digital manufacturing scientific theoretical system, and these theories involve computing manufacturing science, manufacturing informatics, manufacturing intelligence science, bionic manufacturing science and technology management science.At last, the key technologies of digital manufacturing science are concluded and analyzed,and the future development of digital manufacturing science is in prospect.
