Innovative schools and learning environments in Germany and Finland

Ninnemann, KatjaDr. Katja Ninnemann ist als planende, beratende und forschende Architektin im Themenfeld Corporate Learning Architecture tätig. Dabei gestaltet und untersucht sie unter Berücksichtigung organisationaler, sozialer und räumlicher Aspekte innovative Lern- und Arbeitswelten an Hochschulen, Unternehmen und Institutionen. Mit der Gastprofessur Corporate Learning Architecture an der Technischen Universität Berlin lehrt und forscht sie zu Gestaltungspraktiken und Gestaltungsprozessen bei der Zusammenführung physischer und virtueller Handlungsräume.
Trumpa, SilkeDr. Silke Trumpa ist Professorin im Fachbereich Pflege und Gesundheit an der Hochschule Fulda und hat die Studiengangsleitung Bachelor Berufspädagogik Gesundheit inne. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind: finnisches Bildungssystem, Implementierung von Innovationen im Bildungswesen, Organisationsentwicklung, Berufspädagogik Gesundheit, Didaktik der Erwachsenenbildung, Elternpartizipation und qualitative Sozialforschung.

In this book, innovations in the education system are discussed and exemplary developments and projects from Finland and Germany are compared. On the one hand, the focus is on current research results, while on the other hand, examples of good practice from both countries describe remarkable ways of implementation and provide creative suggestions for one's own educational work. These are based on the experience of ten years of international cooperation between two teacher-training university locations.
