Large quantities of agriculture and industries based cellulosic waste is generated every year in the world. It can searve as a major environmental pollutant. This lignocellulosic material can be used as a best carbon source for the microbial fermentation for the production of enzymes. Their role in bioconversion of waste commodities into value added products has been highlighted in the recent decades. The economically viable product can be produce using this type of cheaper sources. The production of fungal cellulase for paper industry, laundry and detergent textile industry by biotechnological approach is currently in demand.
