Dr. Kamal P Bagda is Dean/Principal, Professor and Head of the department of Conservatory dentistry & Endodontics at Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science (GRIDS) Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad Gujarat. He is Executive member of Gujarat state Dental Council. He is PhD guide in Sankalchand Patel University & Pacific University. He was president of Gujarat state -IDA. He is a member of IDA, IACDE, IES, AACD, IOA, IAF, GACDE.
He is a founder, co-convenor of GACDE & EC-member. He is EC-member in IES. He is a recipient of award for dental speaker of the year 2017 at Indian Health Professional Award (IHP). He is a recipient of Best Emerging Dean of the year 2021(NEXT -DEN -GEN) He is also a recipient of Famdent -outstanding dentist of the year award in 2017& 2019. Recipient of Excellence in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics award in 2018 at Indian Health Professional Award (IHP). Recipient of Academician of the year Award -2020(Global outreach).

These conditions and regarding the constantly growing prices for medicinal preparations the appearance of new non-medication methods can be only welcomed and valued. New methods ozone therapy has been gaining a justified recognition in many countries of the world thanks to ozone disinfected effect and its capacity to transport and release oxygen into tissues. Ozone is the combination of three naturally occurring oxygen atoms. Ozone therapy is an alternative to outdated approaches in dentistry. The main feature suggests that ozone can be used in dentistry as a durable anti-microbial agent. Ozone has antimicrobial biosynthesis-enhancing effects. Ozone moves cellular and humoral immunity. Ozone use in dentistry can be made possible via ozone gas, ozonated water, sunflower oil, or ozonized olive. Ozone is used in periodontology, oral pathologies, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry. As a result of these studies performed, ozone therapy in dentistry should be considered as an assistance to conventional treatments.
