Beschreibung:
The contents of this book pay particular attention to the different length-scales (macro, micro and nano) as related to obtaining a deeper understanding of the structure-property relationships of polymeric nanocomposite materials. They cover major findings and observations related to the morphological, interfacial, processing response, physical and thermophysical properties of multiphase polymers and polymer composite systems: from macro to nano length-scales. The presentation is organised around three areas: Multiscale modelling and simulation - Design and advanced characterisation - Processing, application and recycling.Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).The conference focused on recent research findings in the physical and interfacial properties of multiphase polymer composites and nanocomposite systems. The 38 selected and peer-reviewed papers cover multiscale modeling and simulation; design and advanced characterization; and processing, application, and recycling. Among the topics are the multiscale modeling of electrospun nanofiber structures, low frequency relaxation in block copolymers and nanocomposites, developing and characterizing three-dimensional nonwoven composites, interfaces in multiphase polymers and nanomedicines, and polymer nanocomposite scaffolds modified with carbon nanotube for tissue regeneration.
