geboren 1960 in Weggis. Gelernter Offsetkopist-Andrucker, ab 1987 als freischaffender Grafiker und Maler tätig, ab 2004 zudem als Webdesigner, Texter, Fotograf und als Autor. Er war viel in den Bergen auf Hochtouren, mit Ski, wandernd oder mit dem Bike unterwegs. Im Rahmen des Projekts SAC-ART hielt er alle 163 SAC Hütten in einem gemalten Bild fest. Der Autor ist im November 2008 gestorben. geboren 1967, Kommunikationsmanager, freier Fotojournalist und Buchautor. Daneben vermittelt er als erfahrener Alpinist und Tourenleiter Bergerlebnisse in der ganzen Schweiz. Seine Schwerpunkte sind Wandern und Snowboardtouren. Er ist Autor und Koautor mehrerer Bücher im AT Verlag.
The National Route 1 Via Alpina is a section of the network of long-distance hiking routes of the same name. Five long-distance trails cross eight Alpine countries from Trieste to Monaco.
