Write for Earth and Life selects for the first time 22 pieces of speeches of Jidi Majia translated into English. The whole book consists of two parts, literal speeches (12 pieces) compiles the author's speeches invited to make over the years at home and abroad on academic occasions, with major themes regarding person and literature, like regional cultural difference, cultural diversity, environmental protection, justice, truth, equality of all living creatures of universal significance. The second part is literal speeches (10 pieces), compiling the five cultural movements (innovative activities) planned and initiated during his work at Qinghai. The appendix compiles 9 pieces of papers by domestic and foreign poet peer and critics to study Jidi Majia (involving 6 international languages, namely Russian, Chinese, English, Spanish, French and Polish). From the other side, we could see his place shaping up initially in literature history among domestic and foreign poet and scholar circle.
