Dr Adalbert Kapandji (1928-2019) needs hardly any introduction. He is a globally renowned figure among physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons. After a long career as an orthopedist and hand surgeon, and a member of several international societies in these disciplines, Dr Kapandji devoted his time to the revision of his classic three-volume work Physiology of the Joints, now translated into 11 languages.
