Uncle Tom’s Cabin

Harriet Beecher Stowe (14 June 1811- 1 July 1896) was an American Author and abolitionist. She was well known for her writings as well as her public stances on political and social issues of the day.

Stowe's renowned anti-slavery novel follows the life of enslaved Uncle Tom, a strong religious man who finds himself the property of a cruel plantation owner, fighting for his freedom and ultimately, for his right to live.Classics Illustrated tells this wonderful tale in colorful comic strip form, offering an excellent introduction for younger readers.
