Anita Fennelly is a graduate of the former Thomond College of Education, now the University of Limerick. She worked for a number of years in Portugal and England. On her return she moved to south Kilkenny and now teaches English and Drama in New Ross, County Wexford.
Seeking solitude after personal crisis, Anita Fennelly spent a summer alone on the Great Blasket Island.
