He has taught children with special educational needs in both the UK and Canada. Keith Bovair is Headteacher at Durants School for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, in Enfield, London. Keith was formerly Lecturer in Special Education and Educational Psychology at the University of Birmingham. Barry Carpenter is Director of the Centre for the Study of Special Education, Westminster College, Oxford. He was formerly an inspector of schools and a headteacher.
