The Adlerweg: The Eagle’s Way Across the Austrian Tyrol

Since taking up walking 20 years ago, Mike Wells has walked most of the recognised long-distance paths in the UK as well as many paths throughout Europe. He first visited Tyrol as a tour group organiser in 1999 and has returned there every year since. This is his first guide for Cicerone.

A new trekking guide to the Adlerweg, or Eagle's Way, right across the Austrian Tyrol, from east to west, from St Johann to St Anton. The route is described in 23 main stages with 6 low-level alternatives and 8 high-level alpine alternatives. Lots of information included about facilities along the route and detailed sketch maps.
