The illustrated history of the most famous existing ocean liner from the 1930s. RMS Queen Mary: Transatlantic Masterpiece tells the story of the Cunard liner from her design in the late 1920s, to the construction and the problems caused by the Depression. The artwork on board is detailed as is her history during the war years, where it was said she and her sister RMS Queen Elizabeth, helped shorten the war by a year while working as troop transports.
