She graduated with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and is currently the creative producer for Parkwood Entertainment. She designs jewelry under her namesake brand, SHAMI, which she cofounded with her twin brother, Mark. Her studio is based in Long Island City, Queens, where she works on various multidisciplinary art projects.
