Bierling, Billi
Billi Bierling is a renowned mountaineer with special experience in high-altitude climbing. Based in Germany, Switzerland and the Himalayas, Billi has led treks in Europe, Nepal, northern India and Tanzania. She writes regularly for German and English-speaking publications, such as The Nepali Times, Alpin and Münchner Merkur.
Hall, Damian
Damian Hall is an outdoor journalist and ultramarathon-runner who has completed many of the world's famous and not-so-famous long-distance walks, including the Everest Base Camp trek for his honeymoon. His most memorable trek, however, was when a possum stole his walking boot on the Six Foot Track in Australia's Blue Mountains.

Alex Treadway has worked around the world as a travel photographer for fifteen years, four of which he lived and worked in Kathmandu.
