Beschreibung:

Pat Combs spent 8 years playing professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies (1st Round selection, 1988) and Milwaukee Brewers. As a collegiate athlete, Pat represented this country as a baseball player for Team USA. The 1988 USA Baseball team won the gold medal in Seoul, Korea. Pat was an All-American and Academic All-American at Baylor University, where he was later inducted into the Baylor Hall of Fame. Currently, Pat is a behavioral analytics consultant for numerous professional athletes, MLB & NFL teams, and corporate leaders. He is also a Director of a wealth management firm. He's a broadcast color analyst for Fox Sports college baseball and serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards. He and his wife, Christina, have 3 sons: Carson, Conner, & Casey and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Rose. Pat continues to mentor & coach young men through select summer baseball leagues and at his church in Southlake, Texas.
"More than ever, youth sports has become a hyper-competitive battleground. Coaches berate the players and parents threaten the coaches. Pat Combs has seen first-hand the destruction this has caused. It's negatively impacting our homes and communities. This book gives you practical tools so you can breakdown the "win at all costs" paradigm and replace it with a growth mindset. Since almost all youth athletes will not become professional players, let's allow sports to give them something they can use their whole life: character and virtue. Traits that matter More Than the Score."
