We all have experienced challenges in our lives. As a divorced woman of two girls, there were many challenges. Learning to overcome those challenges can come in many small ways, taking steps toward a bigger and more hopeful outcome of circumstances. A Rescue by Peace and Love is about two children, two fictional characters, and their involvement in a bigger and more hopeful outcome for an injured bird. In Florida, where we live the setting is true to available bird Sanctuaries near the coastal waters. It was a time of working together as a family that lead to good emotions, our willing healing and hopeful outcome for a victim of nature's ways. With Peace and Love let us grow forward.

In this book, A Rescue by Peace and Love, the well-teamed characters of Peace and Love experience injury and have feelings of blame and helplessness, but their quick actions take them to new understandings of forgiveness and healing. A Rescue by Peace and Love is the second book in the "wink and think" series of the Peace and Love characters. Each book holds a secret wink between the characters that indicates a shared thought or conversation that the third parties around Peace and Love are not aware are happening between them. During times of difficult experiences in the lives of children, they, too, are also trying to understand what has happened or is happening in and around their lives.
