B. M. STONE was born in Portland, Oregon, in February 1972, and grew up in and aroundthat area. A truth-seeker and a kid at heart, who loves spending time with family. Shespends her free time in the outdoors taking in nature and the local wildlife. She has three children, one stepchild and thus far, five grandchildren. She is happily married and just recently moved with her husband to Klickiktat, Washington. She is currently lookingforward to, and working on her next adventure.

If you see the door is closed,
Don't rush in hard-nosed.
It's not a good idea to walk,
'Till on the door you knock…
Then maybe, knock again,
But, please, wait to hear, "come in".

It is a poetry book.
All the illustrations have been done by her friend's 14-year-old daughter, Rachel Huff.
