Where Soul Meets Matter

Eva Pattis Zoja, Jungian Analyst (IAAP) and Sandplay Therapist (ISST) works in private practice in Milan, Italy. She founded the International Association of Expressive Sandwork (IAES), has taught Jungian Analysis and Sandplay Therapy and has initiated projects of Expressive Sandwork in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

While the hands explore the sand's consistency, its smoothness, and its readiness to respond to the slightest touch, all sorts of perceptions and emotions go through the clients' state of mind, and they cannot say whether they came from inside or out.
