Cecilia Andersen, Ph.D. has been an educator for over 50 years teaching English and related subjects at the college and university level. She has been honored with several awards for teaching. A native of Negros Occidental in the Philippines, Cecilia has served in a number of Philippine community organizations across the United States. She returned to her native home in 2004 to begin her research for this novel. She resides now, with her husband, in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
