María del Pilar Noriega E., PhD, is R&D and Innovation Director at Daabon Group, Santa Marta, Colombia. Until 2019, she was the Director General of the ICIPC (Medellín, Colombia), and from 1997-2012 was Technical Director of the same institute.

Troubleshooting extrusion problems is one of the most challenging tasks in extrusion operations, requiring a good understanding of the extrusion process and the material properties, good instrumentation, good analysis tools, and a systematic and logical approach. This book addresses all issues crucial in extrusion troubleshooting.
