David Lagercrantz was born in 1962, and is an acclaimed author and journalist. In 2015 The Girl in the Spider's Web (2015), his continuation of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, became a worldwide bestseller and was made into a film by Sony Pictures (2018). Ian Giles has a Ph.d in Scandinavian literature from the University of Edinburgh. He translates fiction and non-fiction from Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. He was shortlisted his translation of Into A Raging Blaze for the CWA International Dagger in 2015. He is the Chair of the Swedish - English Literary Translators' Association.
