Dorisy Moran is number eight among the thirteen children of Wilma and Wayne Strole. She and her siblings are commonly referred to as the dozen plus one. The youngest girl of the group, she is a hardworking young lady who is always eager to do her chores around the farm.
But most of all, Dorisy is the beautician of the family. She has a trunk full of fancy tricks, ready to help anyoneperson or animalget what she calls an up do fix. Then one day, everyone else in the family falls ill with the flu, and Dorisy finds herself having to milk the whole herd of cows on her own. What can she do?
