Stillman, WhitWhit Stillman - winner of France's Prix Fitzgerald for his prior novel - is the writer-director of five films, including Metropolitan, Barcelona, The Last Days of Disco, Damsels in Distress, and Love & Friendship, a mendacious representation of this story.
