Ardian Ahmedaja, born in Tirane, Albania, is Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Folk Music Research and Ethnomusicology of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria and chair of the ICTM Study Group for Multipart Music. The main emphasis of his research for the past decade lies in local multipart musical practices in Europe.
