Choose This Day is premised on Deuteronomy 30:19: ‘I call heaven and earth
to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing
and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live.’ One of
the most amazing faculties God has given us is the power of choice. In the above
Scripture, God is challenging us to exercise this faculty, and to do so wisely. He
knows what a hard choice it can be between choosing life and death. And so He
tells us what He desires us to choose every day – life.
