Frederick Van Fleteren is professor of philosophy at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has taught ethics for thirty years and has served as ethics consultant to several healthcare institutions. An internationally recognized scholar on Augustine of Hippo, he has lectured extensively in Europe and North America. He is editor of Collectanea Augustiniana and associate editor of Augustinian Studies. He has also written and lectured on Anselm of Canterbury and is co-editor of Anselm Studies.
Principles of a Natural Law Ethic is a textbook in both ethical theory and specialized topics in ethics. Written by Frederick Van Fleteren, the work is composed from a natural law perspective.
