Beschreibung:

MICHAEL ALLINGHAM is a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh he worked in a number of leading universities in the United Kingdom and United States before moving to Oxford. His interests are in the core theoretical problems which lie at the intersection of philosophy, politics and economics.
The primary purpose of this book is to develop and unify the theory of rational choice. Michael Allingham produces a framework in which the problems of pure choice, choice under uncertainty, strategic choice and social change are united. A secondary purpose is to comment on attitudes to risk and of the concept of knowledge to examine how these problems impact on rational choice theory.
Authoritative and original framework to unify theory of rational choice
