Dr. Kamal Kumar is an Assistant professor at Amity University Haryana, Gurugram, India. Prior to joining this university, Dr Kumar received his doctoral degree at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Patiala, Punjab, India in 2020. He obtained his master's degree in mathematics during 2012 - 2014. He has more than seven years of teaching experience in different subjects of Engineering Mathematics and Statistics. He teaches Fuzzy Set Theory, Optimization techniques and Statistics at under-graduate and post-graduate levels. His current research interest is in fuzzy decision making, aggregation operators, soft computing, and uncertainty theory. He has published more than 50 international articles in different reputed SCI journals, including the Information Sciences, Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence Review, Applied Intelligence, Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering, etc. He has also published 5 book chapters and 2 patents. His Google citation is over 2000 with h-index 21 and i10 index 26. He is an associate editor in the journal "Mathematical Problems in Engineering" and "Journal of Applied Mathematics". He has been a reviewer for some prestigious journals of Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis. He is listed in the top 2% of Scientists in the World in all disciplines in 2021, 2022 & 2023 (three consecutive years) based on Stanford Univ. and Elsevier B.V.
