Approaches to the Study of Sound Structure and Speech

Agnieszka Kie¿kiewicz-Janowiak is University Professor in the Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznä, Poland. She has done research and lectured on social dialectology, historical sociolinguistics, discourse analysis as well as language and gender issues. Her current research interests focus on life-span sociolinguistics and the discourse of ageing across cultures.

This innovative work highlights interdisciplinary research on phonetics and phonology across multiple languages, building on the extensive body of work of Katarzyna Dziubalska-Köaczyk on the study of sound structure and speech.
