Learning to Love the Peso

Jeffrey R Crimmel is the author of three books including "Living Beneath the Radar; A Nine Year Journey Around the World", "Learning to Love the Peso", and "Centavo; A Dog From Mexico." His first book was written 33 years after his return to the states in 1979 after spending most of the 70's living in different cultures and visiting countries like Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan, which are no longer accessible to the traveler today. Mr. Crimmel's cultural exposure changed his views of the world and gave him his Ph D in life experiences. After returning to the states he taught special education for 25 years before retiring in 2011 and moving to Baja, Mexico near the town of San Felipe. He continues to write about cultural issues in his attempts to educate his readers to see the world as different but connected on many different levels.
