Patricia A. McGrath, PhD, is founder of the Pediatric Pain Clinic and Director of the Child Health Research Institute at Children's Hospital of Western Ontario, Canada. She is also Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at the University of Western Ontario. The author of numerous book chapters and journal articles, she served on the editorial board of the [ital]Journal of Pain and Symptom Management[/ital]. Dr. McGrath is a recipient of the Ontario Ministry of Health's Career Scientist Award.
