Educated at the Universities of Konstanz and Iowa, she has translated Elizabeth Bishop, Carol Ann Duffy, and Les Murray into German; Sarah Kirsch and Michael Augustin into English. She runs a poetry press from the small farm in Sweden where she lives with her husband.
