JOANNE L. RONDILLA is a program lecturer in Asian Pacific American Studies in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University in Tempe. She is the coauthor of several books, including Is Lighter Better? Skin Tone Discrimination among Asian Americans. RUDY P. GUEVARRA JR. is an associate professor of Asian Pacific American Studies in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University.
