Carl Manthey Zorn was trained at the University in Leipzig in Germany, He was first assigned as a missionary to India and then moved to the United States, where he became a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod at churches in Wisconsin in Ohio. He authored several books, including "Manna" and "Der Heiland," published by Northwestern Publishing House and many theological articles. He entered his heavenly home in July 1928.
