Edmond Rivère (Contributor) Edmond Rivere is an associate professor at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. He was born in Provence, France - just a few kilometers away from the birthplace of Charles Pandosy. For many years a resident of Kelowna, Rivere became fascinated with the history of his fellow countryman. Originally published under the title: Jean-Charles Pandosy; De Marseille à l'ouest canadien, 1847-1891. Rivere's book is now available in English.Andrew David Irvine (Editor) Andrew Irvine received his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney for work in the Department of Traditional and Modern Philosophy on mathematical truth and scientific realism. Since then he has published and lectured on topics in the philosophy of mathematics, the history and philosophy of logic, and the philosophy of law. He is especially interested in the work of the twentieth-century philosopher, essayist and social critic, Bertrand Russell.>He has taught at UBC Vancouver, the University of Toronto and Simon Fraser University, and has been a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh and at the Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI) at Stanford University.
