Hannah Miles was a high-flying legal eagle in London when a friend emailed her with details of a dream cottage in the Bedfordshire countryside. Instantly besotted, Hannah ditched city life and headed for her rural idyll. In 2007, Hannah competed in BBC television's popular MasterChef programme, in which she gained the hearts of the nation and the adulation of the judges: John Torode said of her 'I think Hannah is one of the most naturally gifted cooks I have seen in a long time'. One of the three MasterChef finalists, Hannah's food career has since taken off, though she still also practises law. She writes for various magazines, including Delicious, and continues to make television and MasterChef Live (Good Food Show) appearances.
