ANDREW ZACHARAKIS is Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department and Edith Y. Babson Term Chair in Entrepreneurship at Babson College. He is co-editor, with William Bygrave, of The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, co-author, with Stephen Spinelli Jr., of Business Plans That Work and How to Raise Capital. MARIA MINNITI is Associate Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship at Babson College, where she is a member of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Project. STEPHEN SPINELLI JR. holds the John H. Muller Chair in Entrepreneurship and serves as Director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College. He was co-founder of Jiffy Lube International and subsequently founded and served as Chairman and CEO of American Oil Corporation. He has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Inc., and Entrepreneur magazine. He has consulted for major corporations, and is co-author of several books, including Franchising, New Venture Creation, and, with Andrew Zacharakis, Business Plans That Work and How to Raise Capital. MARK P. RICE is Jeffry A. Timmons Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and the Murata Dean of the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. With Jana Matthews, he co-edited Growing New Ventures (Quorum, 1995). He currently serves as a national executive advisor for the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. TIMOTHY HABBERSHON is Director of the Institute for Family Enterprising, Babson College, where he holds the President's Term Chair in Family Enterprising and is Assistant Professor in entrepreneurship. He is founder and principal of The TELOS Group.
