We contemplate with admiration the men who have added one stone to the great temple of science. We view with astonishment the genius of an Alexan der, a Bonaparte, the Caesars, and other great chieftains who have crimsoned the world with blood, only to gratify their lust for power and ambition for fame. How much more, then, should we venerate and honor the man whose whole life has been dedicated and devoted to the good of man and the salvation of souls.
