The above photograph shows the mill as rebuilt during the Civil War, operating in conjunction with a cotton gin, saw mill, and grist mill. An old invoice used at that time boasts of spin dles engaged in the manufacture of sheetings, shirtings, cotton yarn, warps and plow lines.
