Dr Tom Licence, formerly a Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge, is a Senior Lecturer in Medieval History at the University of East Anglia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and medieval editor for the journal History.
