Dr. Maxim Mokin, MD, PhD is Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of South Florida. He received his MD from Omsk State Medical Academy, Russia, and his PhD in neurosciences from the University of South Dakota. He completed his residency in neurology and fellowship training in vascular neurology and endovascular neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. His research interests include diagnostic evaluation and management of acute ischemic stroke, and development of new technologies for stroke thrombectomy.Dr. Edward C. Jauch, MD, MS, is Professor and Chair (interim) in the Department of Emergency and Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is Associate Vice Chair for research in the Department of Medicine, Professor in the Department of Neurosciences, Faculty in the MUSC Comprehensive Stroke Program, and Director of Acute Stroke Trials at MUSC. He is also a Professor in the Department of Bioengineering (adjunct) at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Dr. Jauch completed graduate training in bioengineering at Cornell University and medical school and emergency medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati. He served as Chair of Stroke Council for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.Dr. Italo Linfante, MD, FAHA is Medical Director of Interventional Neuroradiology at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute and Baptist Neuroscience Institute. He is also Clinical Professor of Radiology and Neuroscience at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Linfante earned his MD degree from the University of Rome "La Sapienza." He then completed residencies in Internal Medicine at George Washington University and in Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, followed by a fellowship in the Neuroimaging Branch of the National Institutes of Health in Cerebrovascular Diseases at Harvard Medical School and a fellowship in Neuro Endovascular Surgery. He is the President-Elect for the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.Dr. Adnan Siddiqui, MD, PHD, FAHA is Vice-Chairman and Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He also serves as Director of the Neuroendovascular Fellowship Program at the State University of New York at Buffalo and Director of the Neurosurgical Stroke Service at Kaleida Health. He completed fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology, Cerebrovascular Surgery and Neurocritical Care from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his Neurosurgical residency at Upstate Medical University and received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester and medical degree from Aga Khan University, Pakistan.Dr. Elad Levy, MD, MBA, FACS, FAHA is the Chairman of Neurological Surgery and Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He also serves as Medical Director of Neuroendovascular Services at Gates Vascular Institute. e is also the Director of Stroke Research, Director of Endovascular Stroke Treatment and Research, and Co-Director of Kaleida Health Stroke Center. He graduated from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, and received his MD degree with distinction from George Washington University, Washington, DC. He completed a neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at State University of New York at Buffalo. He also received his MBA from Northeastern University, Massachusetts in 2013. In 2011, he spearheaded a local nonprofit organization called Program for Understanding Childhood Concussion and Stroke.
